Hi, my name is Udara! 👋
Hello there! My name is Udara, and I’m a Software Engineer based in Toronto, Canada. I currently work at Square, and was previously at Wealthsimple and Mozilla.
I went to University of Toronto to study computer science, but found classrooms boring. I spent two years slacking off during lectures, and building web apps when I should have been studying. I ended up dropping out after my second year to pursue full-time work.
When I’m not working, I like to relax by playing video games, reading, writing, playing chess, and learning random stuff.
I also love traveling! On top of my travelling bucket list is visiting Japan, going on an African Safari, and petting elephants at an Asian elephant sanctuary.
